minibar does not collect any data. It has no account, no server, no analytics and makes no network requests.
Your settings are stored locally on your Mac in the app's preferences.
The optional hidden items panel asks macOS for two permissions. Screen Recording is used only to take pictures of your own menu bar icons so they can be shown in the panel; the pictures stay in memory and are never written to disk or sent anywhere. Accessibility is used only to forward a click from the panel to the real menu bar icon. You can decline both; the core hide and reveal features work without them.
The TestFlight beta is delivered by Apple, whose privacy policy covers crash reports and feedback you choose to send through TestFlight.
